CEREC technology uses both 3D imaging, computerized design and a 3D dental printer to create tooth restoration on-site. The 3D scanner can create impressions of the affected teeth, which are precise. The scan only takes a few minutes and is much more comfortable than the physical tooth mold used in the past. Once the 3D scan is complete, our restorative dentist can design a dental bridge to fit the adjacent teeth and replace the missing tooth or teeth. The design is digitally sent to the on-site 3D dental printer to create a beautiful ceramic dental bridge that is color-matched to the rest of your smile.
